In the recent past two very different research divisions were run by our group.

In Medical Physics new contrast methods and enhancements for cancer diagnostics were developed, which are based on the influence of ultrasound on the MRI signal,

The division Solid State Optics worked on the modification of properties of optical crystals (e.g. lithium niobate) by irradiation with high energetic ions produced at the Isochronous Cyclotron of the HISKP.

Recently another big field of research was Material Science.

Unfortunately this era comes to an end, there will be no more research carried out by our group.
